When trying to run dbdefrag -l server;username;password astpsdat.000, I get cant log in error -2005. I have tried all the logins on this server and also the domain admin login. It still says login invalid. Has anyone seen or heard of this? Why cant I log in to my own database file?

Are you using ARCserve 2000?
What is the operating system?
Please check the RNNAME system variable from computer properites. Delete RNNAME variable and reboot server
Try
dbcheck -L arcserve;admin;secret astpsdat from command prompt from ARCserve folder
