Hi there im runnning windows 2000 server, does anyone know of the logon script that maps users drives regardless of what workstations they log on to? it would save me having maps drives for them when they go on to a machine that they dont normally use, any help is much appreciated...

try the "net use" command in a batch file and and use it as your logon script:-

net use x: \\server\sharname

-------------------------------

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!
 

use a:

net use * /delete /y

as your first line to eliminate any unwanted persistant connections that may foul your mapping up.
