Our logon scripts have been working fine all year, now when users log on the scripts do not run, I have checked the scripts and they still exist in the NT directory. We run a PDC & BDC,

Thanks

Tony

You haven't changed the permissions or removed the NETLOGON share have you? [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K

Yes a new BDC, why do they not replicate the logon scripts from PDC, I had to manually copy to script directory on BDC

thanks

The logon scripts replication between PDC and BDC must be enabled by you.

I assuime the replication service must be running on both Servers?

Yep, and you have to tell it which server replicates to which server in the Server Manager applet.

Note, it's only a one-way replication, from the systemroot\system32\repl\export\<subdirectories> on the export server, to systemroot\system32\repl\import\<subdirectories> on the import server. [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K
