I'm not sure how to do this but I need to set up one of our customers to log onto our network using our RAS server. I setup a batch file for the customer to use to allow him to access ONLY an application on our webserver for demonstration purposes. I don't want him to access anything else on our network except for the particular application.

When I try to test his logon, I get a message:
"You are not allowed to logon from this workstation"

Any helpwould be great...

Thanks in advance,

Ray

Have you given this user the "Dial-in" access on the RAS server?

If so, then I would also check the Logon permissions in the user manager. They may be restricted to what machines they are allowed to log onto.

Hope this helps... mot98..[peace]

MOT 98 - Thanks for your quick response...

Can you tell me how to restrict him from accessing other servers on our network?

I actually did have him restricted to 2 machines on our network but changed it to allow him to access ALL but I don't want that...

Thanks,

Ray
