I have a loong script that loads at bootup unfortuneatly i have a few users who tend to like to click the little X on the dos window even though its minimized in the corner. Is there a way to prevent them from doing this??

I agree with that. I tell you I sure feel like it

There's a setting in group policy which may help:
user config-admin templates-system-logon/logoff-run legacy logon scripts hidden.

use KIX rather than a dos command file. You could even just use KIX to call your dos command file.

Anyway, KIX's default behaviour is to log the user out if the login script is interrupted. That usually stops them doing it after the first or second time.

go to kixtart.org for more info.

Whe can I get a copy of the KIX logon script information and how to do it? I haven't worked with KIX before however I have heard a lot about it.
