logon related help me! 1

Hi I have installed teradata 7.0 on machine. I am new to this can anyone shred some light on how to find username/passwords for bteq , fastload,multiload. I tried for bteq in following manner.
.logon system/username,password;
.run file = mylogon;
.logon localhost/dbc,dbc;

but it didn't work. Everytime i got invalid logon. Please help in finding proper username/password.

Don't add the password in interactive mode:
.logon demotdat/dbc

Password may be added only when you use &quot;.run file = mylogon&quot; or &quot;bteq < myinputfile&quot;

Thanks doneth. Sorry for replying you so late Actually I was not feeling well from last few days. Today only got a chance to try it and it was successful attempt. Thanks for valuable information.

One quick question what is account id that required during Fastload. Where can i get that.

Account ID is not required, it's optional. If you don't specify it, it will be your default account.

A user may have more than one account, e.g. with different priorities, but only admins can assign those account string to a user.
