Hi, I recently changed the default password of MDUSER (default user) but now, when I try to login with SSSSSS;
to get to the username/password prompt, I get this message:

LOGON REJECT
SYSTEM PROTECTION ON

How would I disable the SYSTEM PROTECTION to let me log in?
Do I just wait for the PROTECTION to go off?

Thanks Guys

try logging on onto another port. if that succeeds, you can remove the protection timeout with RFPUI:UNIT=TWP3,LIM=ALL;

Not so sure what you mean by "another port". I am trying telnet right now. You are referring to a serial connection? Thanks for the quick response.

As daddy says try a serial port with new password and restart TWP3. If you use DNA check MDSupport is not at Level7 using same telnet port as this will lock out each time, change password in MDSupport if this is the case.

OK I think I screwed out big time on this password change. I cant login to the PBX anymore. I have changed the default password for MDUSER and I have no more access. How do I reset this password? Please help

has there been a back up done since you changed the password???

The issue seems to be that passwords are not case sensitive.. can someone confirm this?

yes, all characters that are sent to the MD110 are converted to uppercase. This is no longer the case for TSE systems.
