Logon failure

Hi there,

I have installed win2k Advanced Server in an IBM thinkpad T41 laptop.It worked fine yesterday but today whenever I try to logon using admin account it just tries for sometime and then goes back to the logon screen.

What could be the problem and how do I recolve it?

My next guess would be to get the logs from the problem machine

Can you use the MMC then Event logs to connect to the problem machine and try and get the logs ??? (Just checked, its acutually Computer MAnagment, Right click and then connect to another computer)

I think it may be when admin account local profile is bad. Try manage your server over network, add another account with admin permissions, logon locally as new admin and remove old admin profile.
