logon failure the user has not been granted the requested logon type

i am trying to access a shared folder on serverA from serverB in my active directory domain. i get this error:

logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer

When I try accessing serverA from other computers in the network, i get the same error.

I can access other computer's shared folders in the domain from other computers.

Furthermore, when I log on to serverA I can acceess other computer's shared folders in the domain.

the only problem is accessing serverA's resources. This is also the case when I try to "manage" ServerA's computer(Right-click "mycomputer->"manage&quot from another server

I belive this started happening in the early days of the mblast worm. Since then i have appied SP4 and all applicable hotfixes.

System error 1385 has occurred - Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer

Symptoms: When using net use \\remotecomouter\ahredname, you may receive above message.

Resolution: The users do not have permission to connect to the remote computer. To resolve this problem: on the remote computer, select Administrative Tools>Local Security Settings>Local Policies>User Rights Assignment, right-click on Access this computer from the network>Properties>Add Users or Groups, add everyone or any users you want to be able to access the computer from the network.

Is this applicable if i am trying to access the computer as the domain administrator. Dosn't this aply to local users, not domain users?
