I have a logo which I scanned at a very high resolution, and saved it in bmp format. When I view the file in, for example Paint, the logo looks great. however when I embed it into a report it really looks terrible!

Ant ideas on improving the quality when using it in a report? Should I reduce the resolution? What file format should I use?

Thanks

You should try to match the size of the control with the size of the image.

Thanks, but please explain further.

If you have an image file that is 1000 pixels by 2000 pixels and you use the Zoom property of your control to show it in a much smaller image control, you may get poor quality.

Your image will display best in Clip mode.
