One of our servers had a power outage and we had to recover a few dll's using recovery console using fskdsk. All seems well and the server is running but I cannot login using Remote Desktop or from the Console now. After putting in the right admin user and password it looks as if it's going to login then back to the login screen without error or passing the user name. It seems to be logging in but not starting a session. I found that NVIDIA drivers may play a role in the Remote Desktop issue but what could cause this from terminal? Is there a way to regain access to the machine?
