Hi,
I am trying to login to sql server2000 using the OSQL utility. BOL states that if you do not specify a username/password it will default to your Windows Authentification mode. However, when I type in "OSQL" at the command prompt it is asking for a password. I can put my Windows login password but it does not work. Logging on to Query Analyzer w/ Windows login is fine. Does anybody know what the deal is here?
NOTE: I am using WindowsNT/2000
Thanks in advance,

simply use osql -E

this will use a trusted connection, providing it is set up in this way

Thanks "wilk" I will try that. By the way, how did you come by this info? Is it in BOL?

it was all trial and error, simply going to the command prompt and typing osql /? gives you a list of commands. I then went through and worked out what they all do.
