I am working at home but need to login as domain account to make ADSI work. The problem is that VPN is connected only after I login (to local machine). How can I solve this dilemma? Or is there any way that I login to local machine account first, and then switch to domain account by supplying domain account credential?

Thanks

Depending on your OS you may be able to select "Login using dial-up networking" when you first logon to your machine. This is also dependent on the VPN client you are using.

The other option is if you are prompted for a username and password when trying to access network resources you should be able to enter DomainName\username and your password and most likely will give you access.

Thanks for your help.
For the first solution, through "Login using dial-up", I only connect to ISP but cannot connect VPN.
To make the second option work, there must be a way to impersonate a domain user (by providing domain account name and password). But I don't know how to do it. I tried LogonUser() Win32 API, it does not work (error 1311, There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.).
