Hi,<br><br>An annoying thing is that my login script executes a .EXE file and after that the login script looses it's focus so you have to click in the windows to be able to enter anything. Anyone know of somehow make the other window in focus?<br><br>Regards<br><br>Lars

try putting a small batch file that does nothing in your start menu...get it to close on exit obviously and that should put windows in the foreground unless your login script runs after the stuff in the start menu.<br><br>or ALT+TAB always works ;)<br><br>have a good one.

Instead of running a .exe file, create a shortcut for it (run.bat) with a close on finished option?

ok I think I got confused as to what was being asked..what isn't being displayed in the forground?? windows itself or a actual window from another program??

I want the login script to be in focus. When it calls the .EXE file the LOGIN.BAT looses it's focus and you have to click in the windows (or ALT-TAB) to get focus on it... I want it to have the focus all the time.

I'm not 100% that this will work as I don't have my NT box here, but here's something you can try:<br><br>make a new bat file that does nothing but call the exe<br>set it's setting to close on exit and run minimized, obviously it will create a .pif so in your login script get it to call just c:\temp\newbat<br><br>you may also want to try setting the actual exe to run minimized. <br><br>
