Login Problem

I have some problem login to the system.This is the error message I got.
TTY 04 SCH MTC BUG 9:40
OVL111 IDLE 0

No matter what I typed this message will pop up on the screen.The one place I can login is the console. Any idea? Thanks in advanced.

That's not really an error message. post logi attempt, is it getting to the pass prompt?

no, When I type the first letter 'l' , the message will interrupt me. weird.

What version of software. Try all Caps. Used to be older systems required you to log in in CAPS.

I tried CAPS and it didn't work. no matter what I type, it will interrupt me on first letter.

Try hyperterminal and see if you get the same problem...
Could be a teraterm config problem.

I tried Hyper Term. It did same thing to me.

Could have something to do with the fact that you are on TTY 4 which probably resides on your expansion cabinet 1. Try another TTY port.
