I have asked our web designer to create a standard login page for all our OWA users.
I want a login page instead of users going to our URL and having the security box prompt.

The question that my web designer pose to me was to what Data base does the user name and password need to authenticate?

Can anyone tell me how to redirect a login to OWA instead of the security box popup??

You need to configure Forms-Based Authentication. See the following link:

If you use forms based authentication, and you want users to log on using alias instead of UPN or NT4 style domain\user, you have to modify the logon.asp page anyway. Setting the default domain for basic authentication doesn't work when using forms based authentication.

What I am aiming for is a simple login page instead of the security box that pops up.
I really don't want to change any pages on the OWA.
Any Idea about how to do that??
