Hi,

I currently have an ASP page, which takes in a username and password which I pass to an Access database. Currently my database sits in a completely different directory than the web directory. Its not possible for anyone to hack/download my database is there?

Thanx

Anything is possible but not probable. What you should do is, when a user creates an account, have a security determined number entered into your database and make your login to allow users to login not only by name and password but also by the number.

It should be impossible. Coding is the worst thing I had done.

This is the way I see it with my server, if someone went to al the trouble to hack my machine, (which is what it would take to ge to the other directory) one of the last things they are going to do is patiently search for the database for my website... :)
