Does anyone know if MS Project 2000 can support logical relationships between tasks?
For example, we have a project that involves 4 what-if tests. There are 4 possible ways to solve a problem. If anyone of these works, great. Then the other tests are un-necessary and we can continue on with the project. So not all tests start at the same time or have the same duration. So we have scheduled each test to begin as-soon-as-possible.
My schedule looks like this:
Preliminary work ->
AND
Test 1
OR
Test 2
OR
Test 3
OR
Test 4
AND
Final work ->
We won't know the results of test 1 until after tests 2 and 3 begin, but we can always cancel tests 2, 3, and 4 in mid-stream.
