Hi Guys,

I'm new to Panasonic but come from an Av**a background (i come in peace) and have a NCP 1000 to work on. i'm due to go on a training course next month but looking for a head start and have a play with the kit.

i have the Management console installed - V7.8.2.1 R1

i try to connect to the kit using INSTALLER

My PC is on 192.168.0.103 - I can ping the telephone system on 192.168.0.101

i enter the IP address on the login screen and password of 1234 but i get a warning of application not found.

my Laptop is windows 10 - 64bit and i've ran the application as administrator but still no luck.

any help appreciated guys. Thanks.

Have you checked device manager to make sure the drivers were installed?

It's over IP so highly doubt it's a driver issue, try reinstalling the software, my colleague had this exact same issue two days ago and a reinstall sorted it

Pretty sure it is a windows 10 issue,( MAybe a conflict or hardware driver issue) I have had a couple of sites where the working PC with mtce console working on it has upgraded and I get the same issues, I have talked to IT people and Panasonic support and havnt come up with an answer, having said that,my desktop and laptop are running the latest win 10 releases and I have no issues.
I'd be interested if anyone else has a solution as I have 2 sites now with non-functioning Mtce consoles

Cheers

Windows 10 can be an issue. Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 on the machine and restart pc
This should sort the problem

Am using windows 10 with UPCMCv7.8.2.1 R1 with no issues.

Yes. But some don’t have c++ installed and the programming tool needs it

Hi folks,

sorry for the late reply.

i have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 - Uninstalled/reinstalled (as administrator) the programming tool and restarted my PC. still no luck. i get the 'Application not found' warning.

I got that on a site the other day and even after installation of c++ it had that warning

He had installed the tool without admin rights and I had to fully uninstall it reboot and install with administrator rights. It only tried to repair when mot removed fully

I see you said you did so not sure what else if could be other than you are installing it with the wrong prefix for your region
