Is there anyway to show the debug info while telneted into a router or connected via the aux port?
I know you can config t and put in logging console, then use the debug command. this will show the debug while plugged into the console port. I just wanted to know if there was a way to do this same thing while telneted in to the router?

Thanks

At the command line type " terminal monitor" . This assumes the rest of your logging is setup correctly .

Just be careful when dumping debug info to the session. depending on what you are debugging you can lock up the session or lock up the router. A fun time can be had watching a tech trying to stop the flood of data across their screen and leaving their command prompt in the dust. The good news is that in a telnet session, when the session drops, so does the logging outout. If you did this on the console, then you have a small problem [sadeyes] because logging out does not stop the flood of data.
