Hey guys,

I've looked through the MD110 ALEX and I still cant figure out the function of a LOG2 board. I know it has something to do with the LPU but how is it connected and what is its purpose? Thanks

The LOG2 board plugs into the top half of an LPU board. It's purpose is to give a visual display of the LIM during loading. It's a valuable tool because the first part of a sytem load will not let you log into a command level and this is your only method of knowing if things are working.

It can also be used for fault finding where LPU/LSU/DSU problems occur.
