Hi all

I have CM 6.3.141 system and 1608 IP phones
In one office I have 4 phones added to coverage path
Request is that incoming calls should come to available phones in cov path
If some employee is not at the desk, he Logs out from phone so calls are not arriving to that extension
When he comes back, he logs in and again start receiving calls
The problem that I have in this situation is that after Logging off, Call log is deleted so no recent calls are available for employees
I tried changing 46xx settings file but without success

Does anyone knows how to reload Call log list after Log off from station?

Thank you

Regards,
Dany3

16xx phones do not back up call logs to the http server so they cannot be retrieved from there when the user logs back in.
96xx phones DO back up call logs to the http server so they are available when the user logs back in.

thank you gwebster

I have tested with one 9620 and it is ok

Can you tell me one more thing: in Call Log for calls that were not answered I can see the number, but for answered calls I see ANSWERED BY instead of number. To see number I need to click on Details feature button.
Can I make it somehow that for each call I see number in Call List?

Hi Dani3,

We had the same issue on our system with the Call History showing ANSWERED BY rather than the actual number. We changed the field on page 3 of the Trunk Group settings, as follows:-

From:-
"Show ANSWERED BY on Display? y"

To:-
"Show ANSWERED BY on Display? n"

We can now see the actual called numbers in the Contact History of the 9600 series IP phones.
