I created a report which has 3 subreports, while other one open the report, 4 times prompt to ask password for the database. is it possible that password passing from main report to subreport?

Learn what version of software is being used, the database type and the connectivity used.

Consider that questions about database logins will generally require that you take the time to post what you are using...

I am using Crystal reports version 9, sql database and OLE DB, windows XP

I am using Crystal Ease Viewer to open the report, and it asks 4 times for password.

Go to DATABASE tab, select Set DataSource Location and then whatever tables/views/procedures etc you are using in your main and subreports, set their USer DSN Default Properties to TRUE.
You'll find the User DSN Default Properties under Properties.

If I'm not clear please let me know. I'll explain it again.

I see the properties both under database and table, but there is no User DSN default Properties under both of them

Under Database, could you please tell me , what all properties you can see?

sure
Database Type:Ole DB(ADO)
Provider:SQL OLE DB
Datasource:Database
Initial Catalog:CAN
UserID:fguan
Integrated Security:False
...
I can see them, but I can not change
