I recently installed a BCM-50 and had no problem using Element Manager w/ my PC...a week later I went to change the bandwidth for a softphone and am unable to get in w/ Element Manager. I have tried the maintenance port 10.10.11.1 and the lan ip address of 192.168.0.5 and can ping and I can even download softphones, element manager, etc. but when I try connecting using BCM-50 Element Manager it just doesn't respond. BCM monitor doesn't respond either. I unplugged (reset)BCM and still can't get in ... any suggestions? Thanks!

Can you get into telset?

uninstall element manager, download element manager on BCM50 and install it,let see if it will make difference.

I can get into programming via teleset...and I have uninstalled and reinstalled Element manager using my brouser. Can ya'll think of any thing else. Thanks

PS I took another laptop to customer site and down loaded BCM-50 Element Manager from the BCM I'm having trouble w/ and have the same problem. Launch element manager, put in IP address and press connect or return and it doesn't do anything. I have to enter user name and pw to down load so I know thats not the problem. I went into programming from phone and didn't see where I could change bandwidth and customer wants another softphone at his home when he gets a VPN set up from his home to office later this week. HELP!

I finally got back in....first I restarted the system via the phone and that didn't work so I powered done twice and was finally able to get back in via BCM element manager. I tried this last friday and could not get in....maybe I didn't power down log enough. Anyways thanks for your suggestions.

maybe you should put the patches to the latest level as well
