I search the forum but could not find an answer for my problem... So here it goes...

I have a user that can not log-on to a W2k server from his W2k Pro machine. I receive an error saying that either the password or the domain info is in error. But when I check domain (config is ok) and reset pwd (on server, using the PC log-on pwd) the problem do not go away. To resolve, the user have to unplug from the LAN, log-on with his password as usual, then plug again and then I have to go to the server and unlock the account so he can get into the DB.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Can you give us more details about what the user is trying to do? Sounds like a security issue. Is there only one user with this problem? Thanks, and good luck.

Just one user... And the problem arises when he turns the PC on > Ctrl+Alt+Del > usr + pwd. When he enters the pwd the PC gives an error saying that the pwd or the domain are incorrect. But everything is configured correctly.

Try removing the user from the domain and adding them back. Good luck.
