Does anyone know how to change the Background thar appears behind the User Log in Box? It should default to the Blue Screen, I have a user that has a photo there and I can not figure out how to change it.
Thanks,

You didn't mention the version of Windows.

The original, default startup logo was probably a hidden bitmap file sitting in the boot drive's root folder (it was named LOGO.SYS)

Your user probably named their own bitmap to LOGO.SYS

Perhaps you can copy the default LOGO.SYS from another PC to this one.

It is Windows 2000 Pro.
I did a search on another system and did not locate the Logo.sys file. I have this system setup to show all files.. Anything else? Thanks again.

Hey MFCS,

Try hitting the cancel button on the login prompt. Then change the background when you get into windows. Reboot. Now you should be back to the normal background during the login screen.
