log in password not working!

When my windows 2000 professional boots up, it will not accept my password. Any suggestions?

starting at the basics and working up. are you sure it had a password?....tried clicking ok...without a password?

depending on how or who setup your computer (home?), can sometimes login in as administrator and default, i think, is no password. and rite, case-sensitive names and passwords big issue too.
