Is anyone out there familiar with Intel Dialogic System card that interfaces with Nortel? What are your configuration on the analog ports in the pbx? Currently my ports go in a lockout state after 3 connected calls.

Has anyone ever used the features IRGA and IAMA? If so in what instance?

Thanks.

What's HMS400? All I see is a bunch of analog lines from the dialogic card then into several jacks. A number is dialed gives a recording and is suppose to hunt round robin.
A PC with the dialogic software captures the call log, and recording administration. Not sure where to find the port configuration and need to know how the analog ports should be programmed.

Thanks

You can try LDTA in the CLS. It's worked for me before with modems that would lock up occasionally.

If you can verify that it is analog, then throw a butt set or an analog phone on it, dial an extension that has a display, write down what extension number pops up and then:

LD 20
PRT
DNB
CUST 0

write down your TN, then do a:

PRT
TNB

this will be your programming of that port.

Have you tried putting it into a Hunt Group? I have mine in a Hunt Group with RRB without any issues.

I had a similar situation with ports locking up like that. If I recall, it has something to do with the PBX not seeing the disconnect from the equipment. One suggestion was to use an OPX analog card that was used for analog phones at a far distance, Nortel made the ports more sensitive bacically. The other was the vendor, if they could, some how increase the signal from their equipment to give off a better disconnect.

Something to think about.
