At my workplace, we are supposed to lock our computers when away from our desks for a meeting etc. This is done with the standard [Ctrl]L, or the system will do it automatically if nothing happens for a fixed period of time. This is all Windows XP, quite standard.
The problem I have is that long Crystal tasks often fail if the computer is locked when they are running. This generally happens with Crystal SQL Commands (Stored Procedures). Just recently I got the same thing with a very long job that was pure Crystal but had to search millions of records for a few rare combinations.
The error is always the same, a box that says 'Not Supported' and had an [OK] button. It will also have a box saying "Font still in use" that won't be visible until the report is closed.
It's Crystal 10 running with SQL Server 2000 databases.
I did ask about this long ago (thread149-1095513) but never got an answer.
