Locking the computer causes a "Not Supported" error

At my workplace, we are supposed to lock our computers when away from our desks for a meeting etc. This is done with the standard [Ctrl]L, or the system will do it automatically if nothing happens for a fixed period of time. This is all Windows XP, quite standard.

The problem I have is that long Crystal tasks often fail if the computer is locked when they are running. This generally happens with Crystal SQL Commands (Stored Procedures). Just recently I got the same thing with a very long job that was pure Crystal but had to search millions of records for a few rare combinations.

The error is always the same, a box that says 'Not Supported' and had an [OK] button. It will also have a box saying "Font still in use" that won't be visible until the report is closed.

It's Crystal 10 running with SQL Server 2000 databases.

I did ask about this long ago (thread149-1095513) but never got an answer.

Am I the only person who has this problem? Or do other people have it but not know how to solve it?

I've seen both errors, but not put much thought into what caused them or why they occur.
I know its annoying having to re-run the report...

sorry not much help...

Thanks anyway.
