I am sure this can be done, I am just uncertain how to set it up. I would like to lock students out of customizing the screen saver and background. Is there place or software to do this in XP Pro?

Thanks for any information

Are you using Active Directory? If so there are use configuration settings to lock the desktop. If not you can use GPEDIT.MSC, under "User configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Display" are the settings. You need to be Administrator to configure these. The settings path is the same for AD.

I hope this is of help.
