Hi all
I encounter a new issue about phone lock.
I lock all my IP phone when I go out of office ,but when I arrive to my office next day I see all phone are unlock.
I think it is depends on scheduled reboot ( every night).so please share your experience about this issue.

Why do you reboot at night?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

actually mitel technical expert said I have to restart system every night for clear buffer size ...some thing like that,I do not know it is right or not...
so I think it is a bug on software. What do you think?

You no longer need nightly reboots of the 3300. That has been the case for some time. Unless product support has you rebooting for a specific issue I don't know why they would tell you that. If so you might want to think about an upgrade.

As to the original problem, most likely a nightly reboot is the cause of the unlocked phones in the morning. Maybe shut off the reboot one night to see if it fixes the issue again unless some critical issue is on your site.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

anyway,Thanks all for your helps.

if memmory serves correct then you are able to schedule hotdesk log out at certain times or is this release 5 only??

Having weird memmory issues of late :|

Scheduled Hotdesk logout is in MCD 5.0.
So is Automatic Phone Lock on inactivity.
