lock optipoint 500 in openscape 4000 2

kindly suggest ,customer want to restrict all internal and external outgoing calls from one digital extension .
system is openscape 4000 v8r2.
i changed cos to restrict all calls but internal calls are going through.

You can restrict internal traffic with ITR groups - internal traffic restriction.

An extn’s ITR group is specified in SCSU/SBCSU. Default is 0 but it can be 0-15. By default all ITR groups can talk to all the other ITR groups.

If you place the extn in a different ITR group you can restrict traffic with VBZ amo. You can block one way or both, I.e. 0 to 1 and also 1 to 0.

You change LCSOV to restrict outgoing external calls.

To put the extension into an ITR group
CHA-SBCSU:STNO=XXXX,ITR=15;

To stop ITR 15 from calling to others AND to stop others calling it.

In this example only some extensions are allowed to contact
the Extension 1234.
Called Extension: CHA-SCSU:STNO=1234,ITR=15;
Calling Extension(s): CHA-SBCSU:STNO=xxxx,ITR=1;
As you can see from the VBZ Matrix below only extensions in ITR1 (and ITR15)
can call to ITR15 - other extensions will get number unobtainable.

thanks for ur reply ,but my client has some weird requirements ,they want to block calling from key pad and allow calling through dss key which we can configure on soft keys,one more thing is theRE ANYWAY TO LOCK optipoint 500 standard phone with code key ??i tried *66 for and #66 but not working

To be able to do that (dial only from dss keys) you would have to setup keysystem functionallity
That would allow you to dial out on behalf of another user and that user would be allowed to dial the destination.
