hi, does anyone know how to locate the IP address for a Cajun Switch just off of the PBX? is this even possible? i know you can list IPSI's and CLAN's and Medpro's or node-names, but how do you find out the IP address for a Cajun Switch?

I think just by logging in on the switch (console) and do a show config

You need a console cable connected to your serial port. Then use hyperterminal. This is similar to cisco products.

thanks, but i'm in PA and the PBX is in Canada. they don't make cables that long.

You should be able to telnet to the remote PBX if you know the PBX IP address.

If the Cajun switch's IP addressed have been configure when the CM server is configured (via Web Maintenance Interface), then you can find the Cajun's IP address by using "pingall -a" command in the linux shell or select "Ping" option from the Web Maintenance Interface.
