Dear Sir,
I have a matter as follows:
I have a local mail server on a computer, KWF is
installed on another computer using ADSL. I want my
local mail server can send and receive mails via ADSL connect to KWF.
I configure one more Traffic policy as follow:
Source: Dial up internet (interface)
Destination: Firewall
Services: POP3, POP3S, IMAP,IMAPS,SMTP
Action: permit
Translation: MAP 192.168.0.10 (IP of local mail
server)
If I configure like that my mail server MDAEMON can
send and receive mails immediately?
Thanks

This will enable incoming communication to the mail server through KWF for the purpose of collection POP/IMAP mail or receiving SMTP mail sent to you, but you of course must also add a rule to allow the mail server to send SMTP traffic outbound through the firewall so that it can send mail too.

Make sure your mail server has permission to use external DNS also otherwise mail lookups will fail and all outbound messages will bounce.

Regards,

Loz.
