what are all the terms used to describe "local link"?

What do you mean - are you looking for an explaination of a local link?
-> Loop
-> Circuit
-> link on an analog phone gets you a secondary dial tone
-> on centrex a link is a CO transfer

when i push feature 71 on a norstar and it allows me to conference 2 outside calls on one trunk, to me its called "local link"

what is it called on:
centrex lines?
regular lines?
lines from bell?
lines from all stream?
lines from telus?

aparently they all call it a different name

Feature 7 1 -> Flash/ Recall - this generates a flash on the set/ recall signal to your host PBX.

Link/ Flash/ External CO transfer

Local Link is a package much like Centrex (and some others) where they share a lot of the same features, you need to contact your carrier to see what package you have.

Whay you want to know is the name of the specific feature and not the package which is called 3 way calling.

Look it up in a Webster dictionary.

You probably won't find anything useful, just as you won't searching that term here.

Describe what you're trying to acheive, and maybe we can help you.
