Hi,

I am using MySQL Front 2.5 with Server Version 3.23.52-nt. I tried to import a comma separated file but MySQL showed up an error like that:

1148 - The used command is not allowed with this MySQL version

I cant understand that because the program says that this feature is only available from Version 3.22.6 of higher. But I have a higher Version: 3.23.52-nt. Or does it mean I need MySQL Front in the Version 3.22.6 or higher?

Please be so kind and give advice.

Many thanks in advance

The problem is that MySQL-Front uses "LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE", which is not supported by your version of MySQL, instead of "LOAD DATA INFILE", which is. ______________________________________________________________________

But if this is the solution for that Problen then how does it work.

I don't understand the question. ______________________________________________________________________

Thanks sleipnir214, you nailed my problem with the load data directive. I was able to LOAD DATA INFILE "C:/somefile.txt" INTO TABLE TEST without a hitch now.
