We have Windows NT and MS Office 2000 on our computers. For a co-worker of mine, whenever he opens a Word attachment and saves it to the default location, he is unable to access that file again. The default location is as follows: C:/Documents and Settings/user/local file/temp/documents - or something close to that. The problem is, when we perform a search on the entire computer for the saved file name, the file shows up nowhere in the search results. Then, when we try to find the file through Windows Explorer, we get as far as the "user" folder, but there is no "local file" folder to be found. Also, a computer search for "local file" produces no results. Where is this local file and/or where could these saved files (from the attachments) be? Also, how would one change the default path for saving email attachments?

I should add that the Word documents are attached to email files before they are saved. "local file" shows up as a folder in the path when selecting the drag down menu in the "Save As" box.
