Local drive mappings disappearing

Our setup is Win2k, MF 1.8 SP3 with following HotFixes: ME183W010, ME183W017, ME183W018.

We currently have about 20 users on Citrix in remote offices on a dedicated T1, using dial-up or DSL. Of these users we have one that is loosing his mappings to his client C drive. He is using a DSL connection and is the only user that is having this problem. We have a server reboot script in place that reboots the server every day at 4:30 am but this user still has the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To clarify, are you saying that the user can log in and get the drive mappings, but loses them after a period of time - and no other user experiences this?

Does the same thing happen if the user logs on to the LAN?

This user will log in and have the connection, then lose it. Once lost it may appear later after a few logons or will not appear again until the server reboots in the morning. He is the only user that has this problem.

Yesterday, I set up a new ICA connection for him and havent heard anything back yet. I was going to Net Use his C drive for him as G: or something if this doesnt work and see if that makes a difference.

IMPORTANT: Before you do this make sure you're NOT connected to any ICA sessions! In Citrix Program neighborhood clear the cache. Go to Tools \ ICA Settings… \ then choose the "Bitmap Cache" tab. Click Clear Cache Now.

You may also want to force the Network Adapter from "Auto" to 100 Full Duplex or whatever your network routers are setup for. That made a big difference where I'm at.
