I'm fairly new to citrix, we've just set up a server a few months back and have been happy with the product. however a lot of users are confused as to how to save files locally and wind up saving stuff on the servers C drive a lot. a few have likely said "no" to the prompt where the ica client asks if access to local drives should be allowed, where are the settings to reverse this? I tried re-insalling the client on my pc (uninstall-re-install) and it didnt even ask again.

many thanks

You can change this while connected to any Citrix published app.

Once the application is loaded there should be a Citrix program neighborhood icon in the systray (to the left of your PC clock).

Dbl click it.

There should be a "security" or "file security" button. Click it.

Change to "Full Access" and "Never ask me again for any application".

(NOTE -- the tabs, buttons, etc differ slightly in the language based ont he version, so post back here if you are not finding what I am referring to)

Thanks, cant believe I didnt look there!

one last issue I'm having is certain users when trying to save to local drives (with proper securtity settings) get an error that the drive is unavailable for whatever reason, I've looked this up and cant find any info on this error from citrix, not sure what else to do on this one!

Can you double (or triple) check their security settings?

Does the error message have an error number?

Can you post the exact error message?

Does it happen to the same user(s) all the time? Only when connected to certain servers? Or sporadically?
