Hello, in our enviroment, when losing connectivity with DATASTORE (SQL2000 Cluster), clients IMA when updating the local Database, produced a massive corruption in the local Database, losing we the service, when solving the problems the clients connecting solved the corruption, as can be avoided this corruption?, As it is possible to be solved?
Regards

Sounds like a hardware issue on your database server, what O/S are you using....???

SO installed is W2k Advanced Server in all installation, DataStore is in CLuster, the client is 80 servers.
The Datastore, did not produce failures, the error occurred by a problem in cluster service, and the networking. The clients when updating local database, corrupted massively, when trying to update its information

Were you able to see if any errors were recorded in the event logs on the database servers....????

Are you using Citrix to provide client connectivity...???

What happened with the network connections...??? Did you see any errors on the clients....???

The Database do not report errors, the error took place due to a degradation of the service of IP in the Cluster Service, the DNS was not able to exchange the name by the IP.

We used citrix to serve applications.

The errors in the clients immediately went that they did not get to connect itself through ODBC, taking place the corruption in the local Database

I do not know as it is the reason for which the service of CITRIX IMA when connecting itself to update this service gave the error.

We are studying the possibility that als updates of the local BD take place from the DataStore, and not from the clients

thank you for your responses, Regards
