My Local area connection has limited or no connectivity, im trying to reconnect my router and I keep getting an error message to either check my ethernet cable or reset the router, I have a new cable and i have reset the router multiple times but during this my Local area connection constantly reports limited or no connectivity, how can i get full connectivity to rule this out as a problem with the router.

Any type of networking problem in XP SP2 will give you this “Limited or No Connectivity” message, so you may have any one of these causes of the problem"
