I setup a phone (SS430) in the Lobby of my school at the beginning I was thinking on put a ACD account to Log in/out so nobody use the phone except the people with the ACD login, then I remember the day/night service witch works fine until today. A staff let a student use the phone today and he came back couple hours later and use the phone without asking, so the director of the are request to setup a login on that phone I was thinking on the access account code, but I don’t remember how to set it up, any ideas on how I can block the use of that phone, only people with the code can use it?

Thank you,

Look in your documents for Verified account codes. You need to restrict the phone from making outbound calls, then create a verified account code that will temporarily over-ride the restriction. As soon as you finish the call and hang up, the phone will again be disabled. You need to use the verified account code FEATURE ACCESS CODE + the created verified account code when you first get dial tone. Then you can make your call.

System type would help.

Patersons suggestion is the best one but specifics are dependant on system type.
