Loading Media - Hanging

When backing up Backup Exec hangs and says Loading Media. The tmie keeps ticking on, yet no more data is actually writen to the tape.

The tapes are capable of backing up 200GB and usually requests another tape when 79 - 150GB has been written to the tape.

Backup Exec 9.1 is being used here.

Any ideas into why I am getting this would be appreciated.

Has a 2nd tape been loaded to see if the job resumes? If the job resumes this is an indicator that the data being backed up has already been compressed by a software application and cannot be compressed again by BE.
