I am using OWA and I am attempting to allow each user to view their outlook calendar and their outlook inbox on the home page. I entered the server location ( and it is asking for a mailbox name. What do I put in there so it pulls up each user's mailbox.

Additionally how do I get the OWACalendarPart to display the full month, not just the week?

Thanks

Did you get this to work?

I just installed this and have the same question...

I too have this problem! I type in: but the users just see the OWA screen embedded in the web part and they still need to authenticate themselves.

I had this working at a previous company (about 2 years ago) but I just cannot get this to work!

Any help gratefully accepted!

I haven't figured it out yet... I have the same problem (have to authenticate again)...

Man, where are the SharePoint Gurus?

i dont think you can do this out of the box... the users will have to authenticate themselves unless somebody else knows otherwise.

I think that many has this issue, I am not sure if it can be solved by setting up the Single Sign On (SSO) service in SharePoint, I have not tried it myself though.

Don't suppose a string with %username% would work? (Sorry, WinNT guy rather than a SP guru!)

Exchange will go to the right mailbox provding that the username is in the URL. Not sure if you can code that sort of thing into SP?

Good idea, but i think the user will still be prompted for their password

You're actually prompted to enter your mailbox name in the tool pane. I think they designed the web part this way. You'll probably have to roll your own to get the dynamic OWA bits and pieces to work.

As a sort of a workaround, I added a Page Viewer web part and pointed it at my OWA server. It comes back OK, but is kind of ugly because of the constraints of my SPS page.

As far as I am aware, there is no way around this. Exchange OWA is going to prompt you no matter what, thats expected behaviour from Exchange when using this implementation. That is unless you write code specific to your needs.
