Hi and Thanks for looking!,
I have 3 different sources of internet, and i would like to share the load betwen them instead of having to configure one network segment to use gateway 1 and other segment to use gateway 2, etc. to increase performance and fault tolerance
I was thinking about doing it two ways.
First option giving each gateway different ip network address, configuring 3 subinterfaces or giving the ethernet 3 ip addreses and then configuring 3 default routes.
Second option was simply to connect the 3 gateways on the same net/subnet and configure 3 default routes.
i've tried both of them and the results was the following:
First Option: i cant ping the ip address of the ethernet from a workstation but i cannot ping the gateway (i.e. ethernet int: 192.168.1.1 and the gateway 192.168.1.2) so i cannot go out to internet.
Second option: now the workstations can use internet, but no load balance seems to happen, aparently it uses just one gateway.
by the way i have activated ecmp but it has 3 modes, i've tried them all but i'm not even sure what does the 3 different modes means nor wich one is better for me.
Any of you can give me an idea about how to solve this?
Thanks!
