LNK278 - Unable to enable route (ENL ROUTE) 1

Hi guys,

I'm stuck on that. Anyone know why ?

=> new route 10.99.0.173 10.26.200.1

=> p route
Call Server
ID Network Gateway
1 10.99.0.173 10.26.200.1

=> enl route 1
LNK278 Enable ROUTE: "10.99.0.173" "10.26.200.1" failed.
OK

LNK0278
ENL or DIS operation failed.
Check the network and the link status.

Hi,

You can only enable a new route in the call server by doing a warm start of the call server. Dont forget to do a UPDATE DB before the restart.

You can't enable or disable the a route via command prompt

So, I've
1. Create route 1
=> new route 10.99.0.173 10.26.200.1
=> p route
Call Server
ID Network Gateway
1 10.99.0.173 10.26.200.1

then UPDATE DB
then
>ld 135
.ini active

OK

But route still disable...

....Do I need to disable elnk ? but if I disable it, I will loose network so I can't do this

Add a route to run time routing table, where n = route entry
number .
Note:
This command is blocked for co-resident Call Server
applications (Call Server and Signaling Server
applications co-located on a CP PM server). Network
configuration and management are controlled from the
Linux Base layer.

The command is valid, no need to INI the PBX. However, if it is coresident then the command is blocked because the routing entries are done in the linux base.

Can you please try the below command
>LD 117
=>NEW ROUTE 0.0.0.0 10.26.200.1
This will add routes for all the subnets from CS.

To disable and enable the ELNK (LD 135), please use serial connection.

Even Avaya tells you to INIT the switch

You can enable all the route/gateway stuff, but the CS1000/Meridian doesn't use the route until the switch has an INIT...
