lnk 1168 when executing

After several successful attempts to run program, I
get a LNK 1168 error "Cannot open Debug/myfile.exe for
writing".

What can be done???

It typically means that the file is open - the exe is running, you've opened it in quick view, whatever... Hope that this helped! ;-)

Well it's unlikely the file is really marked read-only, unless you've copied it from a CD backup or something, although you could always look in Explorer. Sometimes things like this happen if you cancel a prog in Task Manager, which means restarting the machine to correct Windows' erroneous ideas. This kind of thing more often happens with DLLs which are in use somewhere. Hope that this helped! ;-)
