lnbound calls from pri showing as External call on AVAYA phone

We have IPO 500 v2 on R11.1 with PRI trunk . Inbound calls are directed from ICR to extension . Once the call lands on extension is it displayed as external and we cant see the telephone number of the person calling . I can see the number on system status but not on Avaya phone . What might be responsible for this ?. I will appreciate your help .

Check withholding your number on external calls.
The use of this option depends on the external line provider. Sometimes, attempting to use this feature can cause calls to fail. If this occurs, the feature should be switched off.

Procedure​

1. Press the Features soft key if shown.
   • To do this during a call, press the
     
     PHONE key and then press Features.
2. Use cursor keys to select Call Settings.
3. Use the up and down cursor keys to highlight Withhold Number.
4. Change the setting as required.
5. Press Save.

We checked the phone settings , there is no withholding your number on external calls . The number is showing for external calls. Issue is only for inbound call
