Hi,

Does anyone knows how to extract the images of scanned documents from LN:DI?

On the net I read something about Image Processing Server (IPS) I am not sure if this is what we need. Is someone familiar with this.

What we need is to convert thousands of LN:DI documents to Tiff, Jpg or other format.

Thanks.

Boy, that's a blast from the past - LN:DI! Our shop ran LN:DI ages ago. I can't recall at the top of my head how it can be done, but I would recommend contacting a guy name Bine Zerko @ By far, this guy is all over LN:DI. They are a 3rd party that developed improvements on the old LN:DI product suite and are considered, by many, as experts in this field. Bine was always quick to reply to requests posted on forums. If I'm not mistaken, the hook (OLE) points to the image file where it's stored in the MSS (assumming you're using MSS - Mass Storage System). I believe you're only recourse - programmatically - will be through Lotus Script. I think you can hook the image pointer, but just can't remember. It's a shame Lotus dropped the product, I really like it. Good luck.

Hi LNotesGuy

Thank you for your feedback. Infact that's the guy we have contacted some weeks ago and it looks he has a solution. Thanks.

Mario
