I am in the process of turning up a new frame cloud.
Existing one is with C&W and uses ANSI for the lmi-type, and it works fine. Second one I am turning up is with AT&T, and whenever I set the lmi type to ANSI, the line protocol on the interface drops, and the DTE LMI goes into a down state. If I set both ends of the AT&T frame to Cisco for the lmi type, both ends come up fine, but my access to the router on the other end starts to crawl really bad. Lots of lag when trying to list or run commands. Initially, when I log into the remote router, I am accessing it via the C&W frame cloud.
Basically what we are doing is turning up a new cloud, and getting rid of C&W to go with AT&T.
I am running Cisco gear at both ends, but would like to just use the ANSI for the whole thing.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Both circuits terminate on the same routers on both ends via multiple interfaces per router.
